Nautilus Ltda. is a company that performs underwater tasks which has developed its main activities on offshore diving operations in the southern region of Chile and Argentina supporting the country’s oil industry.

It was created in 1959 by professional diver Francisco Ayarza Ordenes.

Under auspices of this company emerges NAUTILUS 53° with motorsailer Chonos. It is oriented to support scientific research, flora and fauna observation in the southern end of Chile and to explore the numerous fiords, channels and islands adjacent to the Strait of Magellan. Also, it searches thoroughly the many shipwrecks that lie at the bottom of the sea which tells us about the region’s fascinating historic past.
